I didn&#039;t mean to imply that people should wait to use social media, but that they should use the media at hand, now, rather than wait for a grand vision or strategy. The tools will evolve with use, and the patterns will inform the strategy.

And I see that new tools have similarities from things in the past, e.g. Inter Relay Chat with hashtags #, direct messages, channels, etc. On the other hand, if you don&#039;t start to participate in the conversation in the near future, potential customers and partners will wonder why you are not involved and will probably move on...</description>
