And if there are any good ones, some kind of integration with a GTD system like Remember The Milk or your local task manager might be useful - extracting, assigning and acting action points has been the fiddliest and least oeprationalised bit of many collaborative mindmapping or brainstorming sessions I've been involved in...

Thanks Celine. It seems every other day there is some new collaboration tool to consider especially as vendors, existing and new, scurry to join the rush to Cloud Computing offerings.

I'm in the search for a cost effective collaboration tool that enables:

1 Conversations at workshop tables to be digitally captured by at least one workshop participant

2. Have the table discussion notes posted to a screen as a feed so all workshop participants can benefit from the wider conversations taking place in the room

3. Stream the notes displayed on the screen during the discussion to a wiki so they are available for post meeting review and development.

In addition since my 21st Century Organization blogging partner Victoria Axelrod created, and shared, a Brain of her Community 2.0 Conference notes, http://snurl.com/5wu54 I'm intrigued by mind mapping software and its potential for promoting idea sharing, development and implementation.

I'm curious if you've looked at mindmapping tools and their capabilities, especially as a collaboration platform.

Any and all wisdom on my search appreciated.
