i would like to be able to collaborate and edit documents on my iphone. that would certainly make me a lot more mobile! currently i can collaborate on documents on a very high level using HyperOffice - view them, share them, or have discussions around them - but not actually edit them. maybe Office 14 will change all that.

Actually, the stimulus package calls for $2.825 billion for Wireless and Broadband Deployment Programs. It seems like Obama is pretty big on IT, and on science and technology as a whole. (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pV-c6t5fOVmNorqMpHvnCMw - Row 51)

As for others in my list, I think they aren't that hard to do, and are the next logical steps if social networks want to spread even wider. The big players will come around to it.

Celine,

Thanks for picking up on my earlier post (snurl.com/9epn3) and sharing your '09 Productivity Wishlist.

As I scanned your list I wondered how optimistic you are that your wishes will be fulfilled.? Will we see increased social network interoperability this year, or the improved search filtering on your wish list?

Your observation about the need for improved wireless connectivity has me going in search of whether the $819 billion stimulus package the U.S. Congress passed yesterday applies nay dollars for such improvements.
